Boccia... we played boccia this week. And a fun time was had by all!

We also completed our Floodland topic in English, with diary writing and our own predictions - writing the next chapter.

A lot of thought and high level writing went into both pieces.

Maths has been continuing with statistics, looking at mean, then moving on to a revision of measurements and conversion between different units, culminating in a very challenging problem solving lesson, involving 3-step conversion real-life problems. The class were SUPERB!

In Science, we rounded off the Properties of Materials topic and began Evolution and Inheritance, with some deep-seated conversations about genes and characteristics - this promises to be very rewarding!

We have also done a mini project on proverbs, coming up with some superb ones! If life gives you potatoes, make crisps (my favourite). Whatever life throws at you, catch it. If you think you're perfect, you never will be.

Shame about the weather, but we are lucky to be in a school in beautiful surroundings and also it does make us appreciate it more when the lovely weather arrives.

Summer is coming... honest!

Have a lovely weekend - Mr C, Mrs J and team.
