Morning all,
I just wanted to thank you all for your support with the Teams meeting yesterday. I know some of the children couldn't join us because they had other commitments, but the aim was very much to see how things would run with 20+ children and several adults. We needed to establish what the potential problems might be, so that we could put plans in place to address them.
Whilst it ran very smoothly for a first attempt, there were a few issues with people being able to join and me being able to share documents. Some of these were down to the format and the Teams calendar system and some were down to the web browser vs the Teams app.
All I can say is, that this was hugely beneficial to me, the class and us as a school. Next time, another class will be having a go and we will see how that goes.
So... that was the Teams task for this weekend/week, which means there is no more homework, other than the weekly Mathletics tasks (and spellings from Monday).
Please can you support your child with Mathletics and encourage them to come to me, or Mrs Johnson with any concerns, or worries.
Thank you again - have a lovely weekend. I'm going to go out an buy as many peaches as possible to support the great state of Georgia after their sterling work of the last few days. John Lewis (not the store) will be looking down and smiling.
