Week 8

Posted: Nov 2, 2020 by: Martin Clayton (MClayton) on: Class 6

Good morning all.

It's very dark outside, but I've changed the calendar and it says 'November', so that'll probably explain it.

Things are a bit confusing for us adults at the moment, so I can only imagine how the children must be feeling. I'm planning to have lots of fun (mixed with lots of work) and to give the children plenty of time to talk about their understanding of things.

One thing is for sure, we are very prepared here. Miss Kelly has spent lots of time on the risk assessment and our staff will be make school the safest environment for your child to be.

Interventions begin today, so if your child is involved, please can they be here for 8.30am.

Spellings this week: achieve, interfere, sincerely, persuade, accompany, parliament, leisure, opportunity.

Mathletics will be to practise and consolidate this week's learning - conversion of lengths and distances.

Thank you to all of you who supported your child with the TEAMS project of World War I - we will be celebrating and sharing their work today.

It's still dark out there. I'm going to get a coffee and put some music on.

Have a lovely week!

Mr C
