Good Morning!

I hope everyone is well.

Don't forget, we are getting together 1.30-2.30pm (weather permitting), next Wednesday - 15th July - on the school field.

This Thursday, we are going to be holding a school sports day.
Mrs Matthews will be sending information out, so that everyone can join in from home.

The usual reading and exercise please.

Today, I would like you to have a go at a topic.
One of the year 1 parents happened to mention to me that this summer was going to be wet - lots of rain. This is not good news - if he is correct?
So, how do we know?

I'd like you to research the weather. How do meteorologists make their predictions? How accurate are they? Does anyone check afterwards to see how successful different people are? Is BBC weather more trustworthy than the Met Office?

Write a report, based on your findings.

Finally, can you look into the weather for this summer? What is it going to be like? Will it be different in Yorkshire to Wales? Scotland? Cornwall?

I look forward to your findings.

Fingers crossed you have some good news.

Have a lovely day
Mr C

Ps... here is Georgie's Spanish cooking from the weekend -
