Hi all,

On Monday evening (24.9) at 6pm there is meeting regarding the PTA going forward. If you can attend your support will be greatly valued! We need a parent representative for each class so if you would like to get involved, either contact the office or see Mr Clayton at the 6pm meeting or anytime from 3.15pm.

Thank you for your support.

21.9 Homework

admin on: Class 1

Hi all,

Homework this week is as follows:

Spelling Shed: A delightful sight and Spray at the Bay.

Children have their login details stuck to the front of their reading records.

Simply go to or google spelling shed and input your child's details to access the tasks.

If your child doesn't have their details today this will be due to them not having their reading records with them today.

Many thanks,

Mr H.

Tigers who come to tea!

admin on: Class 1

Hi all,

We have been very busy in class one this week. The children have loved studying the classic 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea'!
We have acted out the story, described the tiger and put together our own book reviews. All while trying to remember to always include capital letters, finger spaces and full stops. Remind your children of 'Kung Fu punctuation' if they are doing any writing at home.

Well done class one!

Transition Day

admin on: Class 1

This week class one have had a day in year two in preparation for moving up in September. They had a very busy day working on place value and writing all about superheroes. Miss Hemingway is very pleased with how grown up class one are and how hard they worked.

Alongside transition day, we have been learning all about time. We have mastered time involving o’clock and have moved onto half past the hour too. Make sure to question your children on what time it is but be aware that we have only used analogue clock faces so far.

On top of all this, Miss Watkins has been busy too. She has had the clay out and class one have been sculpting pots ready to be painted. Very exciting!
