Good morning everyone!

Firstly. I want to say a big thank you to all of you who sent in your sports day results despite the weather!

In school, we had lots of fun but got a little wet!

It's crazy to think that there is only one more week of this academic year left to go! Where has the time gone?

Anyhow, here is today's list of suggested activities:

- GoNoodle -

- Phonics -

‘oa’ sound!

Use the link above to view the Set 3 video published at 9.30 each day. Join in with the phonics learning and then at the end see how many words you can write down containing the ‘oa’ sound!

Feel free to enjoy the reading longer words video below too!

- Maths -

In school, we have been practicing our times table knowledge using the funky mummy game, focusing on the 2s, 5s and 10s.

Click the link to open this up: http://www.ictgames.com/funkyMummy/index.html

We have made chatterboxes to help us practice our 10s. If you have access to a printer, click here to have a go at making one of those!

Another great activity to help remember your times tables is to use a 100 square to color in the multiples! Have a go at making your very own.

- Break -

- English –

Well done for making lovely (and some spooky) desert islands!

What things would you need on the island to help you survive and live happily?

Think carefully...

Is there electricity?

Is there clean water?

Are there any animals you need to watch out for?

You should be professionals at lists now! So write a list using commas to separate your items and use an and between the penultimate and last items.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

Thanks,

Mr. H.
