Summer 1 week 1

The children have had a great week this week! We began with an exciting Art project on Monday; the children worked with Year 6 on a special project to create beautiful swallows from plastic milk bottles. The children loved it and couldn't believe what they could make with just a pair of scissors and a plastic bottle!
Soccer Aid on Friday was a great success; thank you so much for your kind donations! The children thoroughly enjoyed designing their own obstacle course across the whole of the playground and were amazed that the whole class all completed the course with a football in just 7 minutes! I'm sure Year 3 must have been the fastest! Great dribbling and ball skills Year 3; well done!
Homework this week is once again in reading diaries. There are 10 spellings to learn and please support your child in completing the IXL Maths activities too;
Maths: P. 4 (money)
English: L.18 (prefixes and suffixes)
