New school government

Last week, we held a democratic vote for a new Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
Children from year 6 wrote speeches which they read out in assembly. The whole school, including staff used ballot papers to select our new Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
It was a very close race but we now have new leaders. They are Guy and Louis. We will be arranging lots of different jobs for all of our ministers over the year.
Here is a note from our new Prime Minister:
Hello I'm Guy Grieve,
I am ten years old in year six. Recently, I was elected as Prime Minister of the school government. I am very sporty and like to take part in a wide range of activities in and out of school, my favourite sport is rugby. When I grow up I would like to get a degree in zoology and go on to be a marine biologist. I would also like to be a rugby player.
